Dublin, London, 23 October 2013: 

A listing application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the UK Listing Authority for 208,738 ordinary shares of nominal value of €0.001 each in the capital of Smurfit Kappa Group plc ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange, and application has also been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading.  The Ordinary Shares have been issued and allotted pursuant to the exercise of warrants.  Admission is expected to take place by 25 October 2013.
