Regional Press contract wins

Smiths News PLC ("Smiths News"), the UK's leading wholesaler of newspapers and magazines and a leading wholesaler of books, is pleased to announce additional Regional Press contract gains with both Northcliffe and Newsquest.

Smiths News has recently expanded its regional footprint with Northcliffe in Leicester, Lincoln, Tamworth, Leek and Uttoxeter and secured additional distribution business in Swindon with Newsquest.  Both contracts are due to commence before the end of the year and are expected to generate circa £7m of additional revenue per annum.
