Smiths News, the UK's leading wholesaler of newspapers and magazines, is hosting
a visit for analysts and investors on Thursday 24 May 2007.

The visit will take place at its warehouse facilities in Reading and will
provide an insight to how this complex, time-sensitive logistics operation
works.

No material new information will be disclosed in the presentations, which will
form part of this visit, nor will there by any further statement on current
trading.
