Capital Guardian Trust Company ('Capital Guardian') is one of the affiliates
of The Capital Group Companies, Inc. ('Capital Group'). On 27 Aoril 2001,
Capital Group notified the Company that its affiliates were, in aggregate,
interested in 9.03% of the Company's share capital on 23 April 2001.

This notification relates to the increase in the percentage interest of
Capital Guardian only, from 4.47% (on 23 April 2001) to 5.40% of the Company's
issued share capital on 04 May 2001.

Capital Group's affiliates, in aggregate, presently have interests over 9.96%
of the Company's issued share capital.
