Mr Bowman was granted a conditional share award over 113,314 shares under PSP on 11 December 2007. The TSR element of the award (which element constituted one third of the total award) vested in full and the EPS element of the award (being two-thirds of the total award) vested in part with 68.5% of the element being realised and 31.5% lapsing.  As a consequence of the partial vesting, Mr Bowman received 89,518 shares, in satisfaction of his award of which he sold 45,769 shares to cover his liability to pay income tax and National Insurance Contribution on the vesting.
