I write to advise you of the following dates for announcements
of our results in 2001.

2000 FINAL RESULTS

A preliminary announcement of the Company's results and
proposed final dividend for the year ended 31 December 2000
will be released to the London Stock Exchange on Thursday 15
February 2001.

2001 INTERIM RESULTS

An interim announcement of the Company's results and proposed
interim dividend for the 6 months ended 30 June 2001 will be
released to the London Stock Exchange on Thursday 2 August
2001.
