The Company received notification on 22 February 2000 that Mr Antony Peverell
Hichens, a non-executive Director and Chairman of the Company, bought 20,000
ordinary shares at a price of 146p per share. Following this purchase Mr
Hichens holds 220,000 ordinary shares representing 0.07 per cent of the
Company's issued share capital.
