Date of changes in Board membership and of Group Finance Director

27 April 2023

DS Smith Plc today confirms that Adrian Marsh will retire from the Company's Board on 30 June 2023 and that Richard Pike (whose appointment was announced on 18 November 2022) will replace him from that date as the Company's Group Finance Director and Executive Director. A statement in accordance with section 430(2B) of the Companies Act 2006 will be made in respect of Adrian's retirement from the Board and will be available on DS Smith Plc's website until DS Smith Plc's Remuneration Report in the Annual Report for the year ended April 2023 is made available.

Richard's election to the Board will be put to the September 2023 AGM for approval in the normal manner. Richard joined the Company as an employee in March 2023 and before joining bought 372,871 shares in the Company.
