Dawnay, Day Sirius Limited (the 'Company') announces that on 20 March 2008 it
purchased 750,000 ordinary shares at an average price of EUR 0.6693 per share.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 6,966,824 of its ordinary shares
in treasury and has 320,833,176 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury
shares).
