Grant of Share Options


Messaging International Plc, the AIM traded provider of innovative messaging services, announces that on 28 January 2009, the Company granted to Guy Levit, CEO, certain employees and service providers of the Company, options to subscribe for, in aggregate, 11,000,000 ordinary shares of 0.5 pence each in the Company at 0.5 pence per share.


Mr Levit has been granted 4,000,000 options which will vest as follows: 40% are exercisable immediately, a second tranche of 30% to be exercisable after 30 June 2009 and a third tranche of 30% exercisable after 30 June 2010. A further 4,000,000 options out of the total 11,000,000 options granted will vest on the same basis, being the first tranche of 40% exercisable immediately, second tranche of 30% to be exercisable after 30 June 2009 and third tranche of 30% exercisable after 30 June 2010. The balance of 3,000,000 options granted are exercisable immediately.  


The total number of employee options in existence following this announcement is 22,306,286 representing approximately of 9.5 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
