PLC and not under the Company name of Shires Smaller Companies PLC.

Shires Income Plc - Voting Rights and Capital



In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we
would like to notify the market of the following:


Shires Income plc's capital consists of 29,697,580 ordinary shares with voting
rights and also of 50,000 Preference Shares that do not carry voting rights.


The total number of voting rights in Shires Income is 29,697,580.


The above figure (29,697,580) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Shires Income plc under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
