Rule 2.10 Announcement

In accordance with Rule 2.10 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers, the Company announces that as at the date of this announcement it has in issue and admitted to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange 238,861,489 ordinary shares of 97^17/19 pence each, with each ordinary share carrying the right to one vote. The International Securities Identification Number for the ordinary shares is GB00B1FH8J72.

The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.

The International Securities Identification Number for the ordinary shares represented by the Company's American Depository Receipts is US81814P2092. Each such American Depositary Receipt represents one ordinary share in the Company.
