Board Meeting Notification

This is to notify you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Serco Group
plc has been scheduled for 1st September 1999, at which resolutions on the
following matters will be proposed:

1.  Acceptance of the unaudited Accounts for the six months to 30 June 1999.

2.  Payment of an interim dividend, on the 2p Ordinary Shares of the Company,
    for the six months to 30 June 1999.

3.  Release of the results, for the six months to 30 June 1999, via the
    Company Announcements Office on 1 September 1999.
