Appointment of Angus Cockburn as Group Chief Financial Officer

Serco Group plc (Serco), the international service company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Angus Cockburn as Group Chief Financial Officer as from the end of October 2014, at which point he will join the Serco Group plc Board.  Andrew Jenner will continue as the Group's Chief Financial Officer until 30 September 2014.

Angus is currently the interim Chief Executive Officer at Aggreko plc, the FTSE100 support services company and world's largest temporary power generation and temperature control business.  He has served Aggreko in this role since April 2014 having previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer since 2000.  Angus is also a Non-Executive Director of GKN plc.  Prior to joining Aggreko, he served for three years as Managing Director of Pringle, and for five years as a senior finance executive of PepsiCo.
