Paragraph 16.13 of the Listing Rules

We have today been advised that T B Garthwaite, a director of Senior plc, sold
31,062 10p ordinary shares in the Company on 1 June 2000 at a price of 66p each.

As part of the reorganisation of the Company it was announced on 17 May 2000
that T B Garthwaite was leaving Senior plc and he has not participated in
executive decisions, or the management of the Company, since that date.
