Derek Harding, Group Finance Director, to leave Senior plc

Senior plc ("Senior" or "the Group") today announces that Derek Harding, Group Finance Director, will be leaving Senior to become Group Finance Director of Shop Direct, a leading UK digital retailer.  The process to recruit and select his replacement will commence immediately and Derek will remain in post until his successor is appointed, which the Board expects to be later this year.

David Squires, Group Chief Executive, said:

"I would like to thank Derek for his significant contribution to Senior over the past 4 years and the Board wishes him every success in his new role.  While we are disappointed that he is leaving, we will ensure that a suitably high calibre successor is appointed and that a smooth transition takes place."

Derek Harding commented:

"I have enjoyed my time at Senior immensely and am proud to have played a part in the ongoing development of an already strong business.  I leave the Group, to take the next step in my career and I wish David, and everyone else at Senior, all the best for the future."
