SENIOR PLC - DIRECTORS' INTERESTS IN SHARES

On 13 September 2000, the Company's Remuneration Committee granted options under
the 1999 Senior plc Executive Share Option Plan to directors and executives of
Senior plc and its subsidiaries.  The options were granted at a price of 54.17p
per share and may only be exercised in accordance with the company performance
criteria detailed in the rules of the that Plan.

Such options were granted to executive directors of Senior plc at the time. 
Options over a total of 458,027 shares were granted to G R Menzies and options
over 276,906 shares were granted to Mr Rollins.
