Hygea VCT plc announces that on 2 April 2009, AXA Self-Invested Pension Plan on behalf of Mr John Hustler, a director of the Company, purchased 2,500 ordinary shares at a cost of 33 pence per share. Mr Hustler is now interested in 62,500 ordinary shares, representing 0.8% per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
