On 10 March 2016, Securities Trust of Scotland plc bought back 8,831 ordinary shares at a price of 130.71p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Securities Trust of Scotland plc holds 8,547,423 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 113,751,725 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
