On 8 March 2016, Securities Trust of Scotland plc bought back 300,000 ordinary shares at a price of 130.52p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Securities Trust of Scotland plc holds 8,538,457 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 113,760,691 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
