On 8 January 2016, Securities Trust of Scotland plc bought back 173,550 ordinary shares at a price of 123.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Securities Trust of Scotland plc holds 5,840,548 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 116,458,600 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
