On 23 March 2016, Securities Trust of Scotland plc bought back 86,241 ordinary shares at a price of 135.46p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Securities Trust of Scotland plc holds 9,122,166 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 113,176,982 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
