Publication of supplementary prospectus

Securities Trust of Scotland plc (the 'Company') has today published a supplementary prospectus which is supplemental to, and should be read in conjunction with, the prospectus published on 28 August 2013 (the 'Prospectus') in connection with the issue of up to 100,000,000 shares.

The supplementary prospectus is required following announcement of the Company's interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2013, which constitutes a significant new factor relating to information included in the Prospectus.
