Issue of Equity

Further to the announcement released on 5 July 2013 relating to the issuance of 549,000 new ordinary shares, the board of Securities Trust of Scotland plc announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for 548,100 new ordinary shares to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange on 11 July 2013. The balance of 900 issued shares is covered under an existing block listing facility.
