Nelson Law, Executive Chairman, commented:

"2019 was a difficult time due to the economically disruptive effects of the political protests in Hong Kong.  Despite the challenges brought on by the subsequent outbreak of COVID-19, the Group also sees opportunity.  We are encouraged by early signs of economic recovery in Asia ahead of much of the world and an increased demand for digital solutions which economic and other commentators believe will outlast the passing of the pandemic: in an ever increasingly connected world, a process sped up further by COVID-19, the e-commerce bridges we are building between UK merchants and Chinese consumers certainly seem more apposite than ever before. We are emboldened by our ability to offer commercial solutions to businesses who are faced perhaps with increased social distancing and a world that is certainly moving ever more rapidly towards online shopping and away from physical stores."

" Our successful subscription for a 55% interest in New Sky Global Media Limited ("NSG"), a digital marketing services provider, in May 2019 followed by a second subscription in November 2019 are strategic decisions by the Group's Board which were validated by a RMB 4.5 million contract for services signed between NSG and a well established hotel group in Macau.  NSG's expertise in offering digital marketing solutions to companies is yet another area in which demand is only set to grow.  The business's proven results for clients, including millions of hits on hugely popular social media channels in China, is another offering for which demand is expected to increase."
