Sondex PLC 25 October 2007 Sondex PLC 25 October 2007 NOT FOR RELEASE, PUBLICATION OR DISTRIBUTION IN WHOLE OR IN PART IN, INTO OR FROM ANY JURISDICTION WHERE TO DO SO WOULD CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION OF THE RELEVANT LAWS IN THAT JURISDICTION Sondex PLC ("Sondex") Sondex announces that the Court has now sanctioned the Scheme of Arrangement implementing the recommended cash offer by Drilling and Wireline Solutions Limited for Sondex and confirmed the reduction of its capital. The Court has also authorised that on 26 October 2007 Sondex be re-registered as a private limited company. The Court's order will be filed at Companies House on 26 October 2007, at which time the Scheme will be effective. Sondex confirms that it has made an application to the UK Listing Authority for the cancellation of the listing of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each, effective 8:00am on 26 October 2007. Application is also being made to the London Stock Exchange for the cessation of trading in the ordinary shares of 10 pence each, 8:00am on 26 October 2007. Sondex will make a further announcement when the Scheme has become effective and its shares have ceased to be listed and trading on the Official List of the London Stock Exchange. The International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) for Sondex's ordinary shares is GB0033047100.
