                            2002 Report and Accounts

Schroder Split Investment Fund plc has today submitted its Report and Accounts
for the period ended 31 October 2002 to the UK Listing Authority. The Report
includes the financial statements for Schroder Split ZDP plc for the same
period.

A Circular to shareholders in connection with the proposed cancellation of Share
Premium Account and repurchase of shares has also been submitted.
