The Scottish American Investment Company PLC
The Scottish American Investment Company PLC (SAINTS) purchased 400,000 units
of 5p nominal each of Equities Index Unsecured Loan Stock 2004 (EIULS) on 3rd
May 2000 at a price of £2.996 per unit. Following the transaction, 34,104,975
units of 5p nominal stock remain outstanding. In accordance with the Trust
Deed governing the EIULS, the stock purchased by SAINTS will be cancelled.
