Notice of AGM and Posting of Annual Report

Scotgold Resources Limited ("Scotgold" or "the Company") (ASX:SGX) (AIM:SGZ) wishes to announce that a notice ("Notice") of its annual general meeting ("AGM") has today been posted to shareholders. The AGM will be held on Monday 8^th October 2012 commencing at 9.30 a.m. (BST) / 4.30 p.m. (WST) at the offices of Scott-Moncrieff Chartered Accountants, Exchange Place, 3 Semple Street, Edinburgh, Scotland and by audio-visual link at the offices of Nova Legal Ground Floor, 10 Ord Street, West Perth, Western Australia.

The Company also wishes to announce that copies of its annual report have today been posted to shareholders.

Both the Notice and the annual report will be published on the Company's website at www.scotgoldresources.com.
