Schroders plc announces that in relation to the letter of intent disclosed
within the recommended offer announcement made on 02 August 2005 in relation to
Domnick Hunter Group Plc, we confirm that we have sold 497,965 shares and that
our offer will apply to our resultant total as disclosed on 05 August 2005 under
RNS Code 8235P.  Our resultant total is 1,991,863 Ordinary Shares 5p.
