Appointment of Non-executive Director

Schroders plc today announces the appointment of Rhian Davies to the Board as an independent non-executive Director with immediate effect.

Ms Davies will also be a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Nominations Committee.

Andrew Beeson, Chairman of Schroders, said "We are delighted that Rhian is joining Schroders as a non-executive Director. Her experience will further strengthen the Board and I look forward to her contribution."

Rhian Davies (50).  Rhian is a qualified accountant and was until 30 June 2015 a Partner at Electra Partners, an independent private equity fund manager, which she joined in 1992.  Rhian remains a Senior Adviser to Electra.
