Final Dividend

For The Year EndED 30 September 2008

The Directors of Schroder UK Mid & Small Cap Fund plc have recommended the payment of a final interim dividend of 5.30p net per share for the year ended 30 September 2008.  Subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming AGM on 10 February 2009, the dividend will be paid on 12 February 2009.
