Proposals to migrate to UK tax residence and apply for UK investment trust status

Schroder Oriental Income Fund Limited (the "Company") has today published a circular proposing that the Company should become UK tax resident and join the UK's investment trust regime (the "Proposals").

An electronic copy of the circular will shortly be available to download from the Company's website www.schroders.co.uk/orientalincome .

As well as providing further details of the Proposals, the circular includes a notice of an extraordinary general meeting to be held at 12.00 noon on Wednesday, 1 July 2020 at Cazenove Capital, Regency Court, Glategny Esplanade, St Peter Port, Guernsey.

The Company has submitted a pdf of the circular to the National Storage Mechanism. It will shortly be available for inspection at  https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism .
