Retirement of Director

Schroder Income Growth Fund plc (the "Company") announces that as part of the refreshment of the Board, Mr Peter Readman retired at the Annual General Meeting held earlier today and did not seek re-election as a Director of the Company.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Readman for his invaluable contribution to the deliberations of the Directors during his 17 years in office.
