          Result of the Extraordinary General Meeting


Savills  announces that, at the Extraordinary General  Meeting
held today, the ordinary resolution to approve the acquisition
of  First  Pacific Davies Limited was duly passed.  Completion
of  the  acquisition and commencement of dealings in  the  new
ordinary shares, which have been allotted and issued  as  part
of  the  consideration for the acquisition  of  First  Pacific
Davies, are expected to take place tomorrow, 7 April 2000.

As  set  out  in the Circular to shareholders dated  17  March
2000, with effect from the commencement of dealings in the new
ordinary  shares, Godfrey Blott will resign as a non-executive
director  of  Savills,  David Wong will  be  appointed  as  an
executive  director of Savills, and Michael  Healy  and  David
Eastlake  will  be  appointed  as non-executive  directors  of
Savills.
