The Trustee of The Savills plc 1992 Employee Benefit Trust (the 'Trustee') has
today notified the Company that it has made the following purchases of Savills
plc ordinary shares of 21/2p each:

Following the purchases, the potential beneficial interest of all the Directors
of Savills plc who are employed by the Group in shares held by the Trustee has
increased to 10,404,834  (allocated and unallocated) ordinary shares in the
Company, representing 7.89% of the Company's issued share capital.
