Second Advance Value Realisation Company Limited

The Company is pleased to announce that 756,501 Ordinary Shares and 1,765,169
Redeemable Preference Shares have been placed, subject to listing, pursuant to
the Supplemental Placing. Applications have been made to the UK Listing
Authority for these shares to be admitted to the Official List and to the London
Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading on the London Stock
Exchange's market for listed securities. It is expected that listing will become
effective and dealings will commence on 14 May 2003.

Following the listing of the above shares the issued share capital of the
Company will comprise 13,745,997 Ordinary Shares and 32,073,993 Redeemable
Preference Shares.
