                      Notification of Major Shareholding



Walker Greenbank plc (AIM: WGB), the wallpaper, textiles and furnishings
business whose brands include Sanderson, Morris & Co, Harlequin and Zoffany,
announces that on 23 November 2005 it was notified that Gartmore has purchased
8,800,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company, at a price of 16p per
share, representing 14.91 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
