                   Notification of Substantial Shareholding




Walker Greenbank plc (AIM: WGB), the wallpaper, textiles and furnishings
business whose brands include Sanderson, Morris & Co, Harlequin and Zoffany,
announces that on 12 April 2006 it was notified that Gartmore Investment
Management plc (Gartmore) had purchased 300,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in
the Company. As a result Gartmore has an interest in 9,100,000 ordinary shares
representing 15.42 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
