Launch of Live Beautiful Sustainability Strategy

Sanderson Design Group PLC (AIM: SDG), the luxury interior design and furnishings group, announces the launch of its sustainability strategy, Live Beautiful, which includes its commitment to being net carbon zero by 2030.

Sustainability has been a focus for the Group for some time with consultants appointed in 2019 to assist with Planet Mark certification, an independent process for measuring carbon footprint and social value, and also with the Company's alignment to UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The Company has since been working on a wide range of initiatives from encouraging diversity, inclusivity and well-being to developing a digital printing technique that reduces water consumption.

These initiatives have been incorporated into the Live Beautiful sustainability strategy, which has two major commitments: for the Company to be net carbon zero by 2030 and to be the employer of choice in the interior design and furnishings industry.

Further details of the Live Beautiful strategy are available at the Company's website at this link: https://www.sandersondesign.group/media/1477/live_beautiful_sustainability_strategy.pdf

Lisa Montague, Sanderson Design Group's Chief Executive Officer, said: "The launch of our Live Beautiful sustainability strategy marks the start of an ambitious journey in which we intend to lead the interiors industry in transforming the way we design, manufacture and distribute. Our initial steps have given us the confidence to commit to two major goals: to be net carbon zero by 2030 and to be the employer of choice in our industry. I've been delighted by the enthusiasm in the Company for our sustainability initiatives and believe our many small workstreams can together make a major impact."
