                             DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING


On 28th May 2004, Walker Greenbank PLC ('the Company') was informed by Mr Ian
Kirkham, the Chairman of the Company, that subsequent to the release of the
Company's preliminary results on 27th May 2004, he had purchased 50,000 ordinary
shares in the Company at a price of 14p per share, bringing his total
shareholding in the Company to 150,000 ordinary shares.
