DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING


Walker Greenbank PLC ('the Company') was informed by Mr Peter Harkness, a
non-executive director of the Company, that subsequent to the release of the
Company's preliminary results on 27th May 2004, he had purchased 25,000 ordinary
shares in the Company at a price of 14p per share, bringing his total
shareholding in the Company to 125,000 ordinary shares.
