                                  Board change


Walker Greenbank plc (AIM: WGB), the wallpaper, textiles and furnishings
business whose brands include Sanderson, Harlequin and Zoffany, announces the
resignation of Peter Harkness, a Non-Executive Director who has served on the
Board for more than four years. Peter recently led a buy-in of a substantial
media business to which he wishes to devote more of his time. He will leave the
Board on 19 July 2005.

The Board would like to thank Peter for his contribution to Walker Greenbank,
which is on track for a return to profitability, and wishes him every success
with his new venture.
