San Leon, the AIM listed company focused on oil and gas development and appraisal in Africa, was informed on 21 November 2019 that funds managed by Toscafund Asset Management LLP held 326,771,927 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 72.04% of the issued share capital of the Company, following San Leon's repurchase of 97,656 ordinary shares on 20 November 2019 and cancellation of those ordinary shares, as well as previous share repurchases and cancellations by San Leon under the Company's share buyback programme.
