Non-executive appointments

Further to the announcement on 8 May 2013, The Sage Group plc ("Sage") confirms that Neil Berkett and Jo Harlow join Sage as non-executive directors with effect from 5 July 2013.

Neil is the Chair of Guardian Media Group, having recently retired as Chief Executive of Virgin Media Group.  He was a director of Virgin Media Inc. from March 2008 to June 2013.

Jo is Executive Vice President, Smart Devices for Nokia Oy and is a member of Nokia's Leadership Team, having joined the technology company in 2003.

There is no further information required to be disclosed pursuant to LR 9.6.13 R.
