Mr Guy Thompson has been appointed to the board of S & U plc as an executive
director on  23rd March 2005.

Guy joined the group in 1999 as Managing Director of Advantage Finance Ltd,
and his primary role will be to continue to oversee the successful growth of
this motor finance subsidiary.
