                      NOTIFICATION OF INTEREST IN SHARES


Ryanair Holdings plc today received the following notification.


Putnam Investment Management, LLC and The Putnam Advisory Company, LLC
(together 'Putnam') have notified Ryanair Holdings plc of certain holdings of
its clients pursuant to the EC Directive 88/627 on the Disclosure of Interest
in Shares. Each Putnam entity is an investment advisor registered in the
United States pursuant to the Investment Advisors Act of 1940.


Clients of Putnam hold beneficial interests in 17,432,915 Ryanair Holdings ADR
shares representing 4.822% of the Ryanair Holdings ADR shares outstanding. The
Ryanair Holdings ADR shares are held by Putnam's clients for investment
purposes only.
