                     Notification of Significant Interest

Ryanair announces that it received a notification from The Capital Group
Companies, Inc. on behalf of its affiliates (including Capital Research and
Management Company; Capital International, Inc.; Capital Guardian Trust
Company; Capital International S.A.; and Capital International Limited)
pursuant to Section 67 of the Companies Act, 1990.

This notification stated that The Capital Group Companies, Inc. and its
affiliates now hold, in aggregate, 27,506,513 Ordinary Shares in Ryanair. This
represents 7.60% of the current issued ordinary share capital of Ryanair.
