Issue of Equity and Voting Rights

The Company announces the allotment on 9 April 2010 of 750,000 Redeemable Participating Preference Shares of £0.01 each ("Shares") at a price of 186.80 pence per share.

Following this tap issue the company has the ability to issue 637,969 Shares under its block listing facility.

There are now 97,404,703 Shares in issue.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 97,404,703

The above figure (97,404,703) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
