Ruffer Investment Company Limited (the "Company")

Inclusion in FSTE Indices

Further to the circular posted to shareholders on 13 July 2010, the Board is pleased to announce that FTSE Group has confirmed the Company's eligibility for inclusion in the FTSE indices.

The Company's shares will be admitted to the FTSE All Share index following close of business on Friday 17 September 2010 and will commence trading as a FTSE index constituent from 8.00 a.m. on Monday 20 September 2010.
